A Note From the Publisher

By Jen Anderson, Publisher West Chester Macaroni Kid July 29, 2015
“Summer afternoon—summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.” -Henry James

I've always like this quote about summertime. We've had a great mix of keeping busy and lazy summer days this summer. We usually like staying busy and exploring, but those lazy summer afternoons where cat naps (pool/oceanside or otherwise) are an option are nice too.

In this week's newsletter you'll find some terrific family fun! Read about our recent trip to the Brandywine River Museum as well as about the upcoming mainstage performance of Mary Poppins at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center.

Dr. Ron has also given parents some great tips on just how often you should replace that toothbrush!

Finally, be sure to check out the remaining art classes at Conscious Creations Art Studio. Karen Izzi was the artist-in-residence at nearby Exton Elementary this past year and does some fun and creative activities for children!

Have a great week!
