Value: Art of Animation
This is Disney’s newest hotel. It is themed after four popular Disney movies: The Little Mermaid, Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Cars.
There are standard rooms in the Little Mermaid theme and family suites in all the other themes. This resort has three fun pools, an amazing food court, and dedicated bus service to/from the parks.
Moderate: Port Orleans French Quarter
The moderate level is great for those who like a little more of a resort experience. Port Orleans French Quarter is my favorite because, unlike the other moderate resorts, it is very small. There are no far walks on this resort’s property.
Their pool has a great new kids area and a sea serpent slide. There is also a beautiful boat ride that will take you to the new Disney Springs.
Deluxe: Polynesian Village Resort
This resort is a monorail or boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom. Plus you can walk to the Epcot monorail at the Transportation and Ticket Center.
There is a newly renovated pool right on the beach to make you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. Their dining options are fantastic and the rooms are among the largest on property.
