1. Select a time of year when schools are in session. Summer, Winter, and Spring Breaks, and other major holidays are the most expensive times to sail on Disney Cruise Line. A cruise at the end of March (close to the Easter holiday) can be triple the price of the same cruise at the beginning of March.
2. Book early! Currently rates are available until until Spring. While it may be a long ways away Disney Cruises fill up quickly and Disney raises the price as the ships fill up. Disney does not offer last-minute sales. They only have four ships and with the popularity of their cruises, they fill up quickly, thus they do not have to release last-minute discounts.
3. Consider one of the classic ships. Disney has four ships: Magic, Wonder, Dream, and Fantasy. The latter two are the newest ships and they are more expensive than the classic Magic and Wonder. Disney maintains their ships amazingly well and you will get the same experience on any of the ships.
