Younique 3D Fiber Lash Mascara - Product Review

I recently was given the opportunity to try out a new makeup product - Younique's 3D Fiber Lash Mascara. I was nervous because I am sometimes a little makeup-challenged and this came with directions and step-by-step instructions. Not to worry, it all went smoothly. In fact, the end result turned out fabulous and the product was easy to use. 

The product comes in a sleek little case and contains a transplanting gel and the fiber lashes. Essentially you simply follow a gel-fibers-gel sequence and you are all set. I tried the lashes a few different ways, to see what looked and felt best. I should also add that I wear contact lenses, and would say that my eyes are on the sensitive side. 

If you are looking for a "lash-improvement" or a new lash look, I think you will love this product. Here are my tips and thoughts for you:

• The instructions tell you to use your own mascara to start, prior to the gel-fibers-gel steps. I tried applying the Younique lashes with and without the use of my own mascara first and I liked the look better with mascara. 
• When you follow the gel-fibers-gel steps, be careful not to try to put too many lashes on, or they may fall off onto your face or, worse, your eyes. In my first attempt, I loved how it was looking and got greedy for more lashes. Oops! 
• Have your lash fibers tube open and ready to go for when you add the transplanting gel. It's a quick process, and you want the gel still wet enough to stick the fibers on. 
• Once you try it out, it really is a quick process and not much longer than using regular mascara. (You can't do it while driving though!) 
• I love that the fibers are natural - 100% green tea fibers!
• I don't wear a great deal of makeup daily and I thought these still fit my day to day look! You can always add layers or other eye makeup for a more dramatic effect. 

Here are some additional product notes:

• You are able to control how much or little you want to apply - go for a fuller, longer, lusher daytime look, or go all out drama for funsies!
• Goes on like mascara, is waterproof and washes off with any face wash
• Cheer, Dance, Gymnastics, Theater moms - you will thank your lucky stars to get rid of the falsies and glue! This will be your new BFF
• The older we get, the thinner our lashes get, boo! If you are someone who has been curious about cosmetic lash procedures, or already spends loads on lash extensions... stop and get this, hostesses have dubbed it an actual miracle in a tube!
