Do Something Great This Weekend to Help Fight Childhood Cancer

Enjoy a delicious Dia Doce Cupcake - all for a wonderful cause!

September 17, 2014
September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness month. Oh, how I wish there wasn't a need for such a distinction but there very much is a need. Help make a difference in the lives of pediatric cancer patients and their families. Join me, right here in West Chester, on September 20th and 21st, for a chance to do something great to help this terrific cause and to help these kids get back to playtime, bike riding, and just being kids.

The first time I saw the video below from Cookies for Kids' Cancer, I felt the need to "do something." Not long after that feeling, Macaroni Kid National created the idea for Macaroni Kid publishers all over the country to set aside a day to Do Something Great. I immediately thought of Cookies for Kids' Cancer! Now I am excited to partner with Dia Doce to hold a BAKE SALE to support Cookies for Kids Cancer. You can stop into Dia Doce on September 20, 2014 or visit the Cupcake Truck at the Restaurant Festival on September 21, 2014 and purchase a special "Cookies for Kids' Cancer" cupcake, the proceeds of which will go to this great cause.

Did you know - "More children die from cancer than every other disease that affects children, combined." -Dr. John Maris, CHOP Director, Center for Cancer Research

Come out to support the Dia Doce and Macaroni Kid Bake Sale on September 20th and 21st. You can also donate through this website to help reach our goal.

Have a great week! Enjoy your cupcakes!
