There's something about kids and nature, summer and splashing, friends and games that just fit together perfectly. At Kimberton Waldorf School kids will be kicking off their shoes and opting for a summer of adventure! Rising Kindergarten through sixth graders will have the opportunity to join the dedicated staff for hours of outdoor fun in a traditional camp setting; crafts, painting and tons of summer belly laughs await at Summer Adventures Camp 2024. The KWS summer camp program maximizes fun while maintaining the essence of the Waldorf philosophy- a structured, yet relaxed nurturing environment, perfect for your child to thrive. Camps are offered weekly or for the entire eight week summer session and are chalk full of open ended, creative play opportunities.

Some say the secret to kids is simple... just add water. Us parents know it's absolutely the truth. Kids and water go hand in hand, but kids in a creek?! Pure bliss. Your child will enjoy hours of exploration time in French Creek as part of the outdoor extended classroom Kimberton Waldorf School calls home. At camp, they'll discover more about our ecosystem through hands-on learning, get creative with nature based art projects, invigorate their team spirit with friendly field day games- and maybe even have a wheelbarrow race with new friends! Additionally, there is a daily snack provided, afternoon story time, and classical concerts during lunchtime. Campers enjoy a healthy balance of free play time peppered in with exciting invitations to play, learn and explore.
