Little engineers won’t believe their eyes—or their ears this year. For the first time ever Thomas the Tank Engine™ is able to talk to his fans. Boys and girls will be cheerfully greeted by the #1 Engine as he pulls into Strasburg Rail Road for Day Out with Thomas™: The Thrill of the Ride Tour 2014.
This fun-filled event offers little engineers and their families the opportunity to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends® series. Speaking both English and Spanish, Thomas the Tank Engine delivers multiple phrases, enhancing the experience for even the youngest of fans.

Sir Topham Hatt®, Controller of the Railway, joins Thomas the Tank Engine along with a day of Thomas-themed activities including arts & crafts, storytelling and fun extras around the station including rides aboard vintage Pump Cars, hand-propelled Cranky Cars and a Pint-Sized Pufferbelly train – all included in the ticket price. The tour, now in its 19th year, makes stops in 42 U.S. cities and is expected to welcome nearly one million passengers in 2014.
