Attend an outdoor concert

Choose from one of the nearby family-friendly concerts (most of which are free) and enjoy an evening of outdoor music. There are over 25 spots to dance, relax and enjoy the sounds at an outdoor concert in Chester County this summer. 

Go to the movies!

Many venues are hosting outdoor movie nights for families in Chester County this summer. Find one close to you - there are over a dozen outdoor movies planned for this summer! (Most are free, but any paid events should be noted on the event website. For $2 per ticket you can see a movie at Regal Cinemas this summer and for just a few bucks you can catch movie at Movie Tavern.) 

Visit a Museum for FREE

Borrow a Museum Pass from your local library branch and visit one of many local museums and attractions for free with your family. Find details on your local library site.

Take a trip to Valley Forge Park or another nearby state park - bring a picnic, climb on the canons, enjoy the outdoors and more.

Sign up for a summer reading program and make it a weekly outing to choose books. Kids can also participate in Barnes & Noble's summer reading challenge and earn a FREE book.
