Gunther Sunflower Field returns with some end-of-summer beauty just when we need it most. This spectacular field, located at 158 Park Road, Downingtown in Eagle Village will amaze your whole family. Blake Gunther originally planted the field which was planted back on July 3, 2020 in order to give everyone a bright spot during a tough year. The bright spot has returned this summer and is now in bloom and ready for visitors.
There is no admission fee to view the sunflowers and parking is available off of Park Road (next to Levante Stables near the intersection of Park Road and Route 100). While there is no fee to enjoy the flowers and visitors can wander around the field to their liking taking photos and taking it all in, Gunther Sunflower Fields has created a donation box should visitors feel so inclined to "pay their good feelings forward." All donations will benefit Believe and Achieve Foundation, a local organization providing basic needs to children and families.
