3. Visit the Brandywine River Museum of Art
On the first Sunday of the month the museum offers free admission to visitors. This museum is a wonderful one for families. Inside and out there is much for children to see and enjoy.
4. Visit Marsh Creek
Families can enjoy the playground, the small sandy beach or a beautiful hike at Marsh Creek State Park. There is no fee to visit Marsh Creek - however there are boat rentals and a snack bar available for varying costs.

5. Enjoy live music

6. Take a hike or Ride a Bike

There are also a number of family-friendly bike trails including the Chester Valley Trail, The Struble Trail and Harmony Hill/Trestle Bridge trail. All allow for bike riding away from traffic and can be a great way to spend time outdoors as a family.

7. Visit museums for Free
If you have a library card you can check out passes to several local museums for FREE. Check your local library for details on the Museum Pass Program. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy the many museums in the Greater Philadelphia area.
