Welcome to West Chester Playschool, a play-based co-op preschool where experienced teachers team up with parents to create a warm and nurturing early learning environment and each child’s curiosity and individuality is fostered. Through classroom aiding and the cooperative nature of our school, Playschool kids and their families enjoy a strong sense of community and belonging. At West Chester Playschool, the play-based approach is at the heart of what we do, and as a result, our students learn by doing, exploring, and interacting with their environment and peers, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

"From the day our then 2 year old son toured Playschool he didn't want to leave and it's still tough to get him off of the playground at the end of the day. He loves the people (friends and teachers alike), the activities and field trips (e.g, visits to Coverdale Farms and The American Helicopter Museum, visits from Winterthur and Ashland Nature Center). My husband and I love being involved in our child’s education and the Playschool community of intelligent, caring parents and teachers (our director is particularly amazing!). When she is old enough to attend, we plan to send our daughter to Playschool as well. We are very happy with Playschool and feel very fortunate to have found such a special place."
