Business Review
Art is something that everyone should have. It brings kids joy. Cristina and her team are providing something that more and more school districts are cutting. The arts are important. -CZM
My daughter (~age 10) did a summer camp and loved the experience. All the kids worked on the same project; an instructor led the class and helped each kid progress along as art was created. If you child only loves one type of drawing or medium, this class might not be for you. But if you have a child who is willing to try different things and follow along, they will likely have a great time. My kid was always happy to get out of the car and go to camp, and when I picked her up, she was sad to leave. There is a a structure to the class- it’s not a free-for-all art time– so for example, one week my daughter painted an abstract piece, and another week she did a drawing of an animal- the same projects that other kids were doing but all their finished work looked a little different. I loved the class for her because it was a huge break from being on an ipad, and it gave her the confidence that she could draw and “do” art. Now when she’s bored, she knows she can entertain herself! -Steph G
Young Rembrandts is a great way to introduce kids to the fundamentals of art and to the feeling of accomplishment at the completion of a project. -Hugo S
