Celebrate your child’s birthday with a creative, hands-on art experience at Historic Yellow Springs! Youth birthday parties are guided studio sessions led by professional teaching artists and are ideal for curious, creative kids.
Birthday parties are scheduled in 2-hour time slots and include:
- One guided art-making activity
- Time for cake and celebration
- Use of studio materials and tools

LEGO® Printmaking Birthday Cards – $200 for up to 5 participants $40 per additional participant
Click, snap, and build with LEGO® bricks to create an individual printmaking design, printed as a one-of-a-kind birthday card.
Hand Building Clay – $300 for up to 5 participants $60 per additional participant
Party goers will have the opportunity to build and decorate their very own hand build ceramic mug, luminary, or planter. Finished pieces will be fired after the event and available for later pickup.
Shrinky Dink Jewelry – $200 for up to 5 participants $40 per additional participant
Design and color your own Shrinky Dink charms, then watch them shrink in the oven and turn into wearable jewelry to take home.
Seasonal Ornament – $300 for up to 5 participants $60 per additional participant
Make a hand-crafted ornament that celebrates the current season or holiday—perfect to hang at home or give as a gift.
Cyanotype Birthday Card – $200 for up to 5 participants $40 per additional participant
During this hands-on cyanotype workshop, guests will create their own one-of-a-kind greeting cards using a classic sun-printing process. Participants will arrange natural objects and shapes on specially treated paper, then watch as sunlight transforms their designs into brilliant blue prints. Each guest will rinse, reveal, and take home a finished cyanotype card.
