Stroll through thousands of twinkling lights as Chester County Hospital Lights Up Holiday Weekends in West Chester continues with an Old-Fashioned Holiday Weekend! West Chester is decked out for the borough’s beloved Tree Lighting Ceremony, followed by a fabulous holiday bazaar, breakfast with Santa and more!

- Fri. from 6:45 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Historic Chester County Courthouse (2 N. High St.) including live music from West Chester University Marching Band, Gospel Choir and acapella Group Under A Rest as well as the West Chester Area School District Honors Choir. Keep an eye out for the big guy in a red suit, as well as iconic images from holidays past projected on borough buildings. This is also First Friday in the borough and stores will be open late. There will also be FREE street-level parking. High Street (from Gay to Market Street) will be closed from 5-9pm for the ceremony.

- Sat. from 11 a.m – Noon – Little Lincolns Gettysburg Address Competition at the Historic Courthouse Steps. Middle school students from across the county put on their best Lincoln attire and recite the Gettysburg Address. More information HERE.
- Sat. from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.– Holiday Market and Green Sale at the History Center 225 North High Street, West Chester. Support CCHC by joining them for their 2nd annual Holiday Market and Green Sale. Gifts, Greens, Wreaths, and More! Shop in their locally curated market for original items. Do your holiday shopping, pick up a gift for family/friends, or find something special for yourself!
- Sat. from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. – The Holiday Home Tour will showcase eight homes on the North side of the borough decked out for the holidays. Presented by the West Chester Public Library. Tickets HERE. The Holiday Door Tour also starts this Saturday and runs until December 19th.
- Sat. from 1-3 p.m. – FREE Hot Chocolate and Coffee at Northwestern Mutual West Chester Offices located at 200 N High St. Ste 300 West Chester (across from the History Center)
- Sat. from 2-3 p.m. – Making Spirits Bright Holiday Music Series featuring Peirce Middle School/Henderson High School Jazz Bands and Henderson High School Chamber Choir at the Historic Chester County Courthouse (2 N. High St.)
- Sat. at 3 p.m. – Santa is Coming! Wave to Santa as he tours the borough on a fire truck!
