1-Week Dance Camp from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. culminating in an in-studio mini performance.  

Dancers will train in ballet technique and pointe technique (older dancers) as well as perform in Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre.  Other aspects of the camp include Stage Make-up Application and Stretch & Conditioning.  

Two levels:  Ages 6-8  and  Ages 8-11.  

This camp is not designed for beginner dancers.  Students should have at least one year of training for the young group and three years of training for the older group. 

$500 per child.

Darling Duos is a themed dance camp. Each week children will learn dance steps, sing along, and have craft time in the style of their favorite movie duos! 

Learning through the Arts: Music, Art, Dance & Drama

Introduce your child to learning through a special arts-integrated curriculum! Arts-based learning emphasizes creativity, imagination, exploration, and active participation. The arts add depth to fundamental concepts, reinforcing comprehension and memory. Children must be 3 years old and potty-trained by the start of the semester.

Uptown Studio, formerly known as WCStudio @ Uptown, is a comprehensive acting and musical theater training program that serves the community. Our instructors are experienced professional actors dedicated to delivering high-caliber performing arts education to students of all ages and abilities from Chester County, Delaware County, Wilmington, and Philadelphia.

In our program, students not only gain confidence but are also encouraged to take risks in a fun, nurturing, and safe environment. As students progress, they come to realize the significance of using their own voice. Students are encouraged to use their imagination and become Fearless. Equipped with new acting tools, performers learn how to effectively express themselves in the world. Our overarching goal is twofold: 1) Support aspiring actors in entering the industry while providing guidance to those new to the craft. 2) Through acting techniques our students learn to connect with themselves and gain a strong sense of self.
